Guernsey FC manager Tony Vance praised his side's "comprehensive" 4-1 win over Little Common in the Southern Combination Premier Division.
The islanders' third successive victory moved them up to fifth place in the division and into a play-off place.
Guernsey's Josh Addison pulled off an acrobatic save to stop a Lewis Hole header giving Little Common the lead before Ben Solway put the home side ahead after 37 minutes.
Ross Allen made it 2-0 three minutes into the second half before Jacob Fallaize got his fourth goal in six games as he headed in Charlton Gauvain's 61st-minute corner.
Will Fazakerley capped off the win when he made it 4-0 in the 87th minute, only for Hole to get a consolation goal for the visitors in stoppage time.
"It was good to see," Vance told BBC Radio Guernsey.
"We could have had a lot more I think, it was just that final decision or execution, but it's comprehensive.
"Obviously it was really disappointing to concede at the end, but we'd made changes and perhaps that had an impact on it so I'll take responsibility for that.
"You can see how disappointed the players were with conceding the goal, but it was a professional performance and controlled."
Defeat for Green Lionesses

Guernsey FC have won three and lost two of their nine games this season
Having not played for almost a month Guernsey FC's women's side returned to action with a 4-1 loss at home to Bursledon in Southern Region Women's Football League.
The collapse of airline Blue Islands last month meant Guernsey had been forced to postpone their away games at AFC Varsity and AFC Stoneham.
But their loss on their return to action sees them remain in sixth place in Division One South.
Isobel Pouncy gave Burlesdon an early lead before making it 2-0 shortly before half time.
Codie Le Flem cut the gap with 14 minutes to go but Pouncey struck once more to get her hat-trick before Charlet Norman-Tasker scored late on to secure the victory.
