Calling all Percy Jackson fans!

Disney has release the new trailer for Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians TV show and has also confirmed plans for Season 4.

The series is based on the Percy Jackson books, by Rick Riordan, that imagines a world where the Greek gods and their children live in the 21st Century.

Season 1 was a big hit, winning the Kids Choice Award for Favourite Kids TV Show in 2024.

Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the second book of Riordan's original series, The Sea of Monsters.

The most recent trailer for the show gives fans an idea of what to expect.

It seems that Percy will have two missions this season: Sailing to the Sea of Monsters to rescue his friend Grover, and saving Camp Half-Blood.

As ever, there looks to be new monsters and even more action-packed mayhem.

The main trio of the series, Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood and Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, will be returning to our screens.

But they'll be joined by lots of new characters too.

The trailer introduces us to fan-favourite character Tyson, a cyclops played by Daniel Diemer, and Tamara Smart who plays Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus.

It will be based on The Titan's Curse, which is the third book of the original series.
