Watch: Speedy pineapple chopper claims world record

A fruit factory worker has broken the record for the fastest time to peel and slice a pineapple.

Dominika Gasparova, from Wisbech, did it in 11.43 seconds, beating the previous holder by six seconds.

She was cheered on by a lively audience featuring many of her co-workers on Wednesday.

Guinness World Record rules state the pineapple must weigh a minimum of 800g (28oz) and each slice must be no more than 3.8cm (1.5in) wide.
