Man wrestled to ground after stabbing policewomen

The moment a man was arrested after stabbing two police officers was caught on bodycam.

Declan Diedrick, 25, was suffering a psychotic episode as he attacked the pair with a kitchen knife in Harlow, Essex on 29 December 2023.

One of the women was recovering from a head wound that needed to be glued, while the other did not require hospital treatment.

Diedrick, from Hull Grove in Harlow, was jailed for five years at Chelmsford Crown Court after being found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm.
