Young footballers hear veteran's Army experiences

Young footballers have spoken with a veteran about his time serving in the Army as part of Remembrance Day commemorations.

Veteran Andy Taylor was a Royal Engineer, serving in Afghanistan and Iraq between 1999-2008, and attended the Newcastle United "Wor Heroes" event at St James' Park.

Newcastle United Academy Under-12 players Seb and Oscar put some of their questions to him about his time serving and what it meant to be at the event.

He was joined by goalkeeper John Ruddy, who spoke about his family serving in the armed forces and his childhood growing up on a garrison.
