Remember, when we talk about our life experiences we often use present perfect tense. We don’t say when these happened because we are interested in the experience, not the time or date.
- Have you ever fallen in love?
- I have fallen in love so many times.
- I've never met the right woman.
If we say when an experience or event happened in the past, we use the past simple.
- I first met him in 2012.
- I asked her to go out with me.
- After that, he didn't call me back.
To do
So, please write about when you fell in love.

I've fallen in love once. Fortunately this man became my husband.
We met in 2004, when both of us were the students. It was my first real love. Our relationship has lasted for 2 years. In 2006 he dumped me, because I was capricious, egoistical (I think that was a reason). After that I moved to Moscow. I had relationship with men, but sometimes I remembered the first love and thought he was the best around my boyfriends.
When five years have elapsed, he called me. He flew to Moscow and asked me out. I didn't know why, but I decided to receive an invitation. It was love at second sight. In 3 months he made an offer of marriage. My parents were against it, but I said: "yes". Life isn't an easy thing, everybody can make a mistake. I really hope that the biggest mistakes remained in our student days.
Now our son is 2 years old, and we are happy.

I fall in love everyday, if I don't fall in love, I don't find a reason to get up in the morning. Every morning I fall in love with an idea, with my children, with the sea or with a person I met. For instance, this morning while I was walking with a friend of mine, I stumbled in a very handsome man who was taking his dog out... I've fallen in love for five minutes. a really exciting five minutes!
Last time I've fallen in love seriously was 15 years ago, with tha man who is now my husband. We were on holiday in a little island in Sicily, but I was there with my boyfriend of the time and he was there with his girlfriend. We were staying in the same house! It was love at first sight but while we were on holidays we didn't declare our feeling to each other. When we came back home we broke up with our partners and we got together and after two years we got married. Now we have two children and we have been happily married for 12 years.
Despite the fact that I fall in love every morning, we are still together.

Both of us fell in love at first sight. It was at the begin of the year in a ball named Baile dos Bichos when I passed and entered at the University. This ball was used to receive the news students. So far, we have been married for 50 years.

I fell in love at first sight in a bus going to Madrid from my parents' home. I was travelling to the city where I was studying and she was living. She travelled with an aunt and I was travelling alone.
Her aunt proposed her to go out because she didn´t know anybody.
I was a brilliant student of Economy degree at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She was studying an education degree at the same university.
Her aunt told me she didn´t know anybody to go out in Madrid.
So I went out with her several times, fell in love married in the same site of the current king of Spain, got a marvellous daugther and divorced several years later, and we have been quarrelling at courts since then
I got married again afterwards and I´ve got two more children. three in total 23, 10 and 6 years old

Yes I've fallen in love... several times, but the last one...
Hey, it's not over! I mean that I've had some love stories before, but none it was like this one.
Now I'm living in a different city. I've changed my life... completely.
I didn't use to go very far away from home before, I was a bit used to live under the shadow of my bell tower's country. Now I'm living 400 km from home. In the beautiful Tuscany. Before I lived among the Dolomites (I miss them a little).
I understood that this is The True Love when I was walking through a narrow lane in Florence. When I reached a big square and when the sky opened over me, I felt a strange sensation - it was like God had touched my heart (and this is strange because I'm not such a believer, not at all) - and I found myself burst into tears without understanding why. Yes, then I understood: I was coming back to my home, I was leaving my Love there. My Love!!!
And now, that I'm only thinking to this experience, I feel the same strong sensation that I felt that day (hey tears, stay inside!). I think - I'm sure - that this is Love.
I waited 33 years, and I think that this kind of experience could come also later. Don't give up your hope!

I first met my husband in 2013. He creates sculptures from wood. He is witty, sympathetic and optimistic.
We have fallen in love within a week. Some people have said that it wasn’t enough time for us to understand each other within a few days, and our fire would die soon. There has raised doubts about our marriage after that. Some of my relatives haven’t supported our decision. In their view, he hasn’t been worthy of me and I would feel sincerely sorry to marry a man beneath me. It’s hard to explain all our feelings but love has its own meaning.
We have been happily married for two years and I know I have got a right decision.

I have fallen in love so many times. It started when I was ten. We were studied in the same school. And that was very romantic relationship, but it was not long. We divided during summer vacations, when I changed school. So we never met again. From that time I felt in love a lot of times. But the first "right woman" as I thought I met in 2011 and we married. But something went wrong, and we drifted apart. After two years of marriage we divorced. She found a new admirer and went to him. It was hard forme at the beginning, but life is going on. Two years later I met another "right woman" as I think. We are living together and I want to marry her soon.

I have fallen in love once, but I am not very sure that is real love, I thought she was beautiful and clever, then I vindicated. But after some times, I find out that I didn't like her, what I feel is just Freshness. And now, I regret for what I did to her when I was young...and simple.

I haven't had large experience of fallen in love. But I have one with happy ending. It wasn't love with a first sight. We have known each other for more than half of our lives, because we have growing together in the country. It is very difficult to understand and realize from the side how difficult and how many barriers were beside us to become together, so the price of our unity is more higher than it even could be. At the moment as I am writing this letter to you, my wife is feeding our new born child. So it is the best result that ever could be. I wish everyone to finish up your real love for victory, despite troubles, that are the best things to strength your couple.

I could understand what she felt, but i can't stop seeing my daughter . I thought I could't have a cake and eat it. I'm exhausted .So I gave up ,just let her go.Whatever I wish her all the best.

I once fell in love in a middle of a dusty car lot while trying to park a car for the first time in my life. My driving instructor sat next to me and waited patiently while I was turning the steering wheel with my sweaty hands. Not once in our classes did he hurry me or take the wheel out of my hands to finish the maneuver. He would say: „Think, what do you do in this situation? Don‘t rush it ,we have time. You‘ll manage.“ Those were words he was saying at my second or third attempt to do a reverse parking when it suddenly dawned on me: „„Oh my god! I‘m in love with this man!“ The feeling hit me like a wave, it even caught my breath. I could feel butterflies in my stomach. I was surprised that the world around us remained the same while me, I was all in pink.
I‘ve never told or otherwise revealed my feelings to my driving instructor. He was (and he still is) a happily married man with children. I sometimes pass by him in the street or in the shopping center and I still get butterflies in my stomach. I think it was his calm voice and his peacefulness that had me so bad. Nowadays everyone is so in a hurry, eager for attention, loud and competing. He was calm and peaceful like a quiet island in a turbulent sea. As the old saying goes, when we fall in love, we see the others as they are seen by God. Love is a miracle. I've never regretted falling in love. I accept love as a miracle

I have fell in love sometimes during my life. The first time it happened when I was ten or eleven years old and the girl, with similar age, looked really like a doll. She was funny, intelligent and very pretty. We were in the same class but we spoke nearly nothing, just we looked each other without being seen by the rest of the class. The emotion was strong for me and for her, I believe, but it passed when the time passed.
The second time I fell in love I was seventeen or eighteen. She was really fit and quite a good person.I fancied her. It lasted for three or four years and finished when I spotted she really didn't love me but a different kind of person with different personality. She asked me to change.
Four or five years later I found my soulmate though naturally we didn't know that at the beginning. She was a blast in my life and I was loved up. Nowadays we have got two wonderful daughters and three precious grandchildren.

I have been married for forty years. I met my wife in a night club! I fell in love as soon as I saw her but I have to admit that she didn't fall in love with me so quickly... She wasn't the first girl I met. I do remember the girl I fell in love with for the first time. We were fifteen years old and spend our holidays together. I just kissed her but it's always a nice memory. I haven't seen her again. Does she remember me?
