BBC Cymru Wales is set to inspire new wildlife heroes to do something for nature this summer in a Springwatch season of events and programmes.
The season kicks off with three Springwatch specials on 17, 19 and 20 May. The main Springwatch series then runs from Monday, 31 May - 17 June on BBC Two Wales.
Families in Wales will be able to attend Springwatch Wild Days Out, offering hands on nature activities from 20 May - 12 June.
The wild season will mark the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity with a series of events and programmes to promote the importance of protecting a wide range of species across the UK and around the world.
On Monday, May 17, the 'Springwatch Wild Season' in Wales kicks off on BBC Radio Wales - highlighting the plight of the bees.
Morning presenters Jamie Owen and Louise Elliott will join the Bee Part of It campaign to learn more about the bee and its crucial role in our circle of life.
