All the scores from Week Five

There may have been a couple of injuries (get better soon, Brendan and Laura!), but it didn’t stop our remaining celebs from lighting up the Strictly dancefloor.

Perched at the top of the leaderboard for the second week running are Ore and Jo. Their Waltz earned a score of 36 and even prompted Craig to tell Ore: “you’re incredible.” Aside from a wonderful Waltz, perhaps Ore’s biggest achievement was holding back the tears (that’s a 10 from us, Ore!).

Close behind Ore are Danny and Oti, whose Rumba racked up an impressive 35 points. Notoriously the most difficult dance for a male celeb, Danny impressed Len who said it was “very masculine.” Louise and Kevin also wowed with a Parisian-themed Rumba and were awarded 33 points.

Anastacia will have made a poorly Brendan very proud with her and Gorka’s Quickstep, which clocked up her highest score of the competition so far – 30. 

It wasn’t such a positive night for all our Strictly stars. Ed and Katya failed to impress the Judges with their American Smooth. Scoring 18 points, Ed unfortunately missed the closing lift. Bruno said: “It was a ride and it nearly ended in disaster!”
