Every spooky score from Halloween Week
Bats. Comic book heroes. Zombie weddings. Ghosts. Mad scientists. The Halloween Strictly special was ghoulishly great in every way.
There really was something spooky in the air, as five of our couples scored their highest scores of the competition so far – Laura and Giovanni, Louise and Kevin, Judge Rinder and Oksana, Daisy and Aljaz and Ed and Katya.
Sitting joint top of the leaderboard with a score of 36 is Claudia and AJ and Laura and Giovanni.
Following a spellbinding American Smooth, Craig proclaimed Claudia and AJ’s entire dance “dynamic,” while Len deemed her footwork “brilliant.” After being unable to dance last week, Laura bounced back with a terrifyingly good Tango, which Darcey called her “best dance.”
Close behind these dancing devilish duos was Louise and Kevin, whose Suicide Squad inspired Charleston was criminally good. Darcey complimented the routine, declaring it a “dazzling Charleston.”

Unfortunately it wasn’t a night of thrills for all our terrifying twosomes. Down in the dark depths of the leaderboard, with a score of 25, sit Anastacia and Brendan. The Judges weren’t completely bats about their Jive. Craig explained: “Like a meatloaf there’s always bits you’re not sure about.”
And how could we forget Ed ‘Mad Scientist’ Balls and Katya, whose Cha Cha had all the right ingredients for their highest score so far… and an eight from Bruno!
Who do you think was more phenomenal than a phantom? And who do you think will be facing the deadly Dance Off tomorrow night?
