Sheffield producer Franky Wah has just been added to  Radio 1's playlist in the Introducing hot spot! Make sure to tune into the network all week to hear his track 'Hide'.

Essential: Franky Wah is a house DJ and producer from Doncaster, who has been supported by Introducing in Sheffield and Radio 1 dance DJs Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard. He started his journey making tunes in his shed with his laptop - since then, he has released on Ministry Of Sound and Steve Lawler's ViVa imprint and played at Creamfields, Glastonbury and Hideout festivals. 'Hide' features New Zealand artist, Robinson whose haunting vocals bring the record to life. If you're a dance-head, you'll love this!

Essential: Gotts Street Park are a collective of producers and musicians based in Leeds who have been supported by Introducing in West Yorkshire since 2017. Influenced by hip hop and inspired by philosophy and early soul records, Gotts Street Park incorporate modern production techniques into their own distinctive, cinematic songwriting style. The band write, perform and record all of their material live in one room, and have previously worked with Mabel, Celeste, Yellow Days, Kali Uchis, Grentea Peng and Rejjie Snow, and they are currently working on their own debut EP ‘Volume One’. 'Bad' is their new track and features Zilo on vocals.
