Flying the flag for BBC Introducing on the Radio 1 playlist this week are Propellers and their track Midnight Kiss. The band were chosen for daytime plays on shows including Sara Cox and Scott Mills after uploading their track to the BBC Introducing Uploader and catching the ear of our team at BBC Introducing in Kent. Listen to Midnight Kiss below and get to know the band a little better too.
Style: Midnight Kiss lures you in with a classic indie tempo before knocking you out of your stride at the chorus with a supremely catchy synth-led groove. There's a real retro feel to the way it dances along and there's also some crazy robotic undertones which is always a plus.
You need to know: Midnight Kiss is the title track from the band's debut EP which is out now. Good timing.
Supported by: Midnight Kiss was first played by Jacob Rickard on BBC Introducing in Kent at the start of January. It's had a couple of plays since and the band will be on the show for an interview this Saturday.
