This week's BBC Introducing spot on the Radio 1 playlist is taken up by Ady Suleiman and his track Why You Running Away. Ady, an artist familiar to regulars on the BBC Introducing website, will have his track played across BBC Radio 1 daytime all week and feature in Huw Stephens' FREE DOWNLOAD too. See what you think...
Hometown: Ady is a singer songwriter from Nottingham.
Style: Ady's style is very easy on the ear to say the least. Like many of the tracks we've heard so far, Why You Running Away leaves most of the room for Ady's awesome tone to fill - he's left to his own devices over a strutting bassline and an understated acoustic guitar section. Plenty of space for his joyous vocal riffs, then.
You need to know: Ady is playing the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury 2013. Check out the full line-up here and if you aren't lucky enough to be going, we'll be live streaming our stage and putting up highlights too.
Supported by: Like fellow Nottingham singer Indiana, Ady is a proud find by Dean Jackson and his team at BBC Introducing in the East Midlands. He also has plenty of fans at BBC Radio 1Xtra including MistaJam and Trevor Nelson.
Find out more: Take a look at his recent BBC Introducing session from Maida Vale and then hunt Ady down on Soundcloud and Twitter.
