A quick round up of what's new this week on BBC iPlayer, programmes that are about to become unavailable, plus some hidden gems you might have missed.

Ghosts

Box set. Sitcom about a cash-strapped young couple who inherit a grand country house, only to find it is both falling apart and teeming with the ghosts of former inhabitants. Available until Tue 20 Aug.

The Big Short

Film. Based on Michael Lewis' bestseller. Defying market reasoning, a few shrewd but oddball fund managers and traders start betting against the US mortgage system's stability. Available until Tues 20 Aug.

Shooting The Past

Box set. A three-part drama serial by Stephen Poliakoff about a picture library facing closure. An American property developer arrives in London with some bad news for a photo archive. Available until Wed 21 Aug.

Dark Money

Unable to find any other kind of justice, Manny and Sam Mensah accept a substantial pay-off to keep silent about the molestation of their son Isaac by a famous Hollywood producer.

Eating With My Ex

Ever wanted answers after a break up? This show reunites ex-couples to ask some awkward questions. Some want an apology, others want closure - but could they get back together?

Fosse/Verdon

Michelle Williams and Sam Rockwell star in the US box set exploring the partnership of Broadway greats Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon. The series begins in 1966 with Fosse directing the film Sweet Charity, starring Shirley MacLaine in the role made famous by Bob's wife Gwen on Broadway.
