An all-star cast has been announced for new BBC One Agatha Christie thriller The ABC Murders including John Malkovich and Rupert Grint.
In addition, BBC Two confirmed that Richard Gere is to star alongside Helen McCrory and Billy Howle in MotherFatherSon, Tom Rob Smith's original eight-part drama for the network.

Springwatch returns to BBC Two at the end of May, broadcasting live from the National Trust’s Sherborne Park Estate in the heart of the Cotswold countryside once more.

BBC Sport has launched its marketing campaign for the 2018 FIFA World Cup to be held in Russia, History Will Be Made.
Children's
This week more acts for CBBC Summer Social were announced including New Hope Club and family favourite Shrek the Musical.
Radio
For the first time ever, BBC Radio 2 announced that it will hit the sunshine of Ibiza to celebrate the explosion of dance music that has hailed from the island for the past three decades.
Elsewhere, Radio 4 confirmed Dangerous Visions will return exploring the next British civil war.
International
The BBC News Somali 2018 poetry award for young women opened for entries this week. Now in its second year, the prize is open to women aged from 16 to 35, inviting original works of poetry in the Somali language.
