A round-up of BBC announcements and press releases and blogs, plus some highlights from our TV, radio and online output last week.
BBC Proms in the Park
Details of the 20th BBC Proms in the Park were revealed this week: the concert returns to the Titanic Slipways in Belfast; Gary: Tank Commander joins forces with Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro, Scottish mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill, and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra for this year’s Proms in the Park on Glasgow Green; and Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons are to headline Proms in the Park in Hyde Park on Saturday 10 September 2016.

Meanwhile, the six BBC Proms Inspire Young Composers’ Competition winners have been announced.

Drama
BBC One has commissioned a major adaptation of Agatha Christie’s The Witness For The Prosecution. The network also started filming Our Loved Boy a 90-minute feature-length drama telling the story of Damilola Taylor from the point of view of the Taylor family. It stars Babou Ceesay and Wunmi Mosaku and is written by award-winning screenwriter and playwright Levi David Addai.
It was also announced that BBC One's hit drama Death In Paradise to film in UK for first time - the upcoming series will feature two episodes with scenes set and filmed in London.
Meanwhile BBC One drama The Replacement started filming in Glasgow, the series will star Morven Christie (The A Word) and Vicky McClure (This is England).
News
It was a big week for News with the EU Referendum on Thursday 23 June - On 18 June News confirmed the panellists for its final and biggest debate on the EU referendum, which was broadcast on BBC One on 21 June at 8pm.
Then, David Dimbleby was joined by BBC Political Editor Laura Kuenssberg reporting live for 11 hours the much-anticipated results of the EU Referendum, as they come in from the 382 counts across the country in EU Referendum - The Result.
Factual
It was announced that Jimmy Carr will host a one-off Horizon special, as part of the BBC’s landmark sitcom season, revealing the fascinating science of laughter and comedy.
Elsewhere, Watchdog announced a new presenter line-up ahead of its return to BBC One this autumn.
Entertainment
Charlotte Moore, Controller of TV Channels and BBC iPlayer announced that Kate Phillips, currently Creative Director of Formats at BBC Worldwide, has been appointed Controller, Entertainment Commissioning.
Radio
BBC Radio 1 revealed the line-up for its summer residency: Kolsch, Logan Sama, Louisahhh and Will Atkinson will be joining the Radio 1 Residency team, starting Thursday 7 July.
Children's
Details of next month’s CBBC Live in Birmingham event have been revealed today as stars of some of the channel’s biggest programmes prepare to head to the city on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July.
Digital
Digital made a statement on the future adoption of HbbTV standards. Meanwhile, Sport revealed how audiences are taking advantage of a more personalised service during the 2016 UEFA European Championships.
Regional
BBC Northern Ireland continues to mark the centenary anniversaries of events of 1916 with specially commissioned content. Meanwhile, the World War One At Home project will launch the final local stories from a global conflict to be broadcast on BBC local radio stations.
Elsewhere, a special season of BBC Wales programmes to mark centenary of the Somme and Battle of Mametz was announced.
In Scotland filming on the third series of BBC Scotland’s comedy series Scot Squad got underway in Glasgow, as the law keepers returned for another arresting mix of comedy and crime.
International
BBC World Questions heads to Nicosia, the last divided city of Europe. As leaders of both the Greek Cypriot community and the Turkish Cypriot community claim progress is being made, perhaps a solution can at last be found to the 'Cyprus Problem'.
Blogs
Dan McGolpin, Controller Daytime and Early Peak, highlighted the successes of BBC's daytime shows and introduced some new programmes for the coming months in BBC Daytime: Off-peak is on form; as the nation prepared to vote in the referendum we highlighted some programmes on BBC Parliament on the first UK referendum 41 years ago - Remembering the first UK Referendum - 75: Not Out on BBC Parliament; Simon Nelson BBC Writersroom Development Producer blogged for us about the BBC Writersroom Director's Scheme, while over on the Writersroom blog one of the participants shared her experience.
Kieran Clifton asked Are you ready for a summer of sport?; and we had a couple of obligatory Glastonbury FEstival blogs: Glastonbury (avoiding the mud) by our own Jen Macro and The Other Glastonbury by Producer James Ballardie; finally Rob Phillips, Football correspondent for BBC Wales wrote about Wales at Euro 2016.
