The BBC Scotland channel launches on Sunday 24 February at 7pm. Here's a selection of just some of the shows you can enjoy during the first week.
Getting Hitched Asian Style

This new three-part series goes behind the scenes with Scotland’s biggest Asian wedding planners, Saffron Events, as they create some of the most spectacular weddings over a summer season.
The People's News

Forget the usual media commentators, The People’s News is all about what’s on the minds of ordinary Scots, who pick up their cameras and film their views and reactions to the burning issues everyone is talking about. Over half an hour, there are varying viewpoints and funny opinions from all walks of life and from every corner of the country.
Breaking The News
Comedian Des Clarke has been hosting Breaking The News throughout its meteoric rise on BBC Radio Scotland and he'll be back in the hot seat when the show makes its series debut on the BBC Scotland channel. Susan Calman, Rory Bremner, Tiffany Stevenson and Stuart Mitchell are the panellists for the first show.
The Great Food Guys

Nick Nairn and Dougie Vipond are celebrating the best food Scotland has to offer, in a brand new eight-part series. Each week, from their Scottish country kitchen, they’ll focus on a different food theme and cook up a definitive dish.
Burnistoun Tunes In
Burnistoun is back and ready to tune in! This one-off special of the hit sketch show celebrates television in Scotland, from the nostalgic black-and-white past to everyone’s modern-day favourites, all viewed through the hilarious and unique Burnistoun filter.
Test Drive

Scottish wrestler and actor Grado is the presenter of the car-based quiz show.
Three teams hit the road in their colour-coded red, blue and yellow cars, answering questions via a specially-adapted sat-nav that will determine their route to a well-known tourist attraction. Answer correctly and they’ll follow the shortest route. If they’re wrong, there will be diversions, wrong turns… and miles added to their trip. The winners with the lowest mileage at the end bags a cash prize.
The Grey Area

The Grey Area is a new film from Bafta Award-winning director Garry Anthony Fraser, featuring cast largely found through self-run drama workshops and Addiction Recovery groups in Edinburgh, which also serves as the location for the story.
Sportscene: Morton v Falkirk
The new BBC Scotland channel will be the home of SPFL Championship coverage, screening live matches which will be scheduled regularly on Friday nights.
The Nine

The Nine is BBC Scotland’s flagship news programme, bringing national, UK-wide and international news to audiences across Scotland. Broadcasting from a permanent open-plan studio space on the third floor at BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay, the programme is anchored by two of the country’s leading journalists, Rebecca Curran and Martin Geissler.
Mini Disco Divas
This new six-part series provides a unique insight into the lives of Scottish school children swept up in the highly competitive Freestyle dance craze that's spreading like a fever from Elgin to Edinburgh.
Jamie Genevieve #Unfiltered

This fascinating one-hour documentary follows six months in the life of Scottish vlogger Jamie Genevieve, pictured, a former make-up counter assistant turned YouTube sensation. With more than one million followers on Instagram and over 700,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel, Jamie Genevieve is the most popular person online in Scotland.
A View From The Terrace
A weekly hour-long sideways look at Scottish football, hosted by real fans who pay to watch the game. Adapted from the cult podcast The Terrace, it will have a cheeky and irreverent tone that is heavily rooted in the hosts’ love of the game.
A Night At The Theatre

Scottish comedian Iain Stirling hosts a special one-off entertainment show, with the very best performances in comedy and music, to kick off the first night of the brand new BBC Scotland channel.
