I think we are going to see a lot of smiley faces this week as we do have a lot of dry and sunny weather to look forward to! This always seems to be the case when the schools go back. Just take a look at these wonderful scenes; we forget how breath taking our country really is…
For much of last week we had high pressure to the west of us and low pressure to the east. This brought unsettled conditions. This week high pressure has moved in and it’s holding on tight. It's also blocking any low pressure systems from getting in. This means lots of dry and sunny weather.

Now we've been experiencing some very chilly nights too but as we start to drag in warmer spells from the south, the nights will be much less cold compared with Sunday night.
Tuesday looks sunny from the word go with a gentle breeze it will feel very pleasant in the sunshine. There will be more dry and sunny weather to look forward to on Wednesday and Thursday, but it will be a little bit breezy. Temperatures are on the rise and it should get up to around 22°C by the end of the week.
There is a bit of uncertainty about the weekend’s forecast, but as it stands we should squeeze in another fine day on Saturday before it then turns more unsettled on Sunday. There are also early indications of wind and rain next week but that could all change. For now enjoy the sunshine and don't forget the sunscreen!
