Heliopause - Falling (Part 3)
They Say: “The track will be on my new album. I just successfully crowdfunded the recording of the album so I’m excited to get it produced over the summer. The three parts are loosely connected around the idea of falling. Falling in love, out of love and the self-falling apart. They sound more dramatic than they actually are though.
It’s not intended as a concept track. The three parts were accidental and they can each stand alone. When I write songs, it’s quite common that an idea will create many off-shoots that become songs in their own right. There’s a possibility that they might even have their own separate names on the album. It’s the first time I’ve written songs with a piano instead of a guitar and it has felt refreshing to write this way, so I’m hoping to involve more piano in the future.”
We Say: “It's an upbeat time for Heliopause and the band's mainstay Richard Davis as he hits the target for his crowdfunding project and prepares the way for his fourth album, 'How Can We Laugh After This'. On the basis of this sample demo, we might expect winsome electronics, skeletal piano lines and tunes to treasure.”
