A quick round up of what's new this week on BBC iPlayer, programmes that are about to become unavailable, plus some hidden gems you might have missed.

Life And Death Row

Series telling the story of capital punishment through the eyes of young people whose lives have been shaped by it. With unprecedented access inside prison walls, it discovers what it's like to live with the threat of the death chamber. Available until Monday 2 September.

Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star

Series hosted by Stacey Dooley, which sees ten aspiring make-up artists compete to be named Britain's next make-up star. Available until Sunday 1 September.

The Awakening

Thriller. Haunted by World War I and the loss of her fiance, hoaz exposer FLorence Cathcart visits a boarding school to explain sightings of a boy's ghost. Available until Monday 2 Septemeber.

Doctor Who

Rose Tyler meets a mysterious strange called the Doctor, and realises Earth is in danger. Series 1-11 is available now.

Miranda

Sitcom starring Miranda Hart. It doesn't matter what Miranda attempts in life, whether it's dating or siumply dealing with her overbearing mother, she always seems to fall flat, quite literally. Series 1-3 available now.

Silent Witness

Drama series about a team of forensic pathologists. Dr Sam Ryan believes every dead body deserves nothing but the truth and the team won't stop until the truth is delivered. Series 17-22 available now.
