Deadly protests go through the night in Sudan

Newsday

Available for over a year

Thousands of people have been demonstrating in the streets of the Sudanese capital Khartoum demanding the resignation of President Omar al-Bashir. Two people, a teenage boy and a doctor, were shot dead in the Burri neighbourhood of the capital. Activists say nine other protesters were injured. Newsday's Bola Mosuro heard more from a Khartoum resident, who we have not named for security reasons.
