Fire crews tackle blaze at historical Grade II listed pub

Firefighters were called to a blaze at a derelict pub on Wednesday evening.
Crew from Essex County Fire and Rescue service were called to the Grade II listed The Worlds End Pub in Tilbury, Thurrock, external at 15:30 BST.
The fire was under control by 18:30 but firefighters remained at the scene on Frot Road throughout the evening to check for hot spots to make sure the area was safe.
Officers said they are set to carry out an investigation into the cause of the blaze when it is safe to do so.
