Pedestrian struck by car dies at scene of crash
The crash happened in Whitmoor Lane, in Guildford on Monday, police say

A pedestrian has died after he was hit by a car in Guildford, police have said.
Surrey Police said it was called at about 17:00 GMT on Monday following reports of a crash along the A320, Whitmoor Lane.
Paramedics attended but the pedestrian, who was in his 60s, died at the scene, the force said.
The road was closed for a number of hours while officers carried out investigations.
Anyone in the area at the time of the crash who may witnessed it, or captured footage, has been urged to contact Surrey Police.
