Murder charge made after fatal stabbing in flat

A man has been charged with murder after a 40-year-old man was fatally stabbed in a north-west London flat, the Metropolitan Police has said.
Officers were called to the apartment at Tollgate House, Tollgate Gardens, Maida Vale at about 21:40 GMT on Friday.
The victim was treated at the scene for stab wounds but later died in hospital. His family is being supported by specialist officers, police added.
Leon Douglas, 45, of Watford Way in Hendon, was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of murder and charged with the offence on Wednesday. He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
