Public Services are responsible for managing the work across all 300 miles of the Islands' roads, the management and operation of the landfill sites, the liquid waste system as well as the sewer network. They also act as the Receiver of Wreck and are responsible for the ongoing maintenance of Alderney breakwater. The Public Services department is to advise the States on matters relating to:
